2 Answers. Try "resetting" your keyless entry code. Which is a fancy way of explaining that I broke my keyless entry key fob and had to order a new one. It came w/ instructions explaining how to get the new fob to speak to the car's computer. It was weird (turn key on and off 3 times, open and close door three times, etc.

Try the procedure below to program the remotes. Step 1: Open driver side door and leave open. Step 2: Lock and Unlock the drivers door using the power door lock switch on the door. Step 3: Insert key into the ignition. Step 4: Turn Key to ON position and return to Lock (off) position. Do this 3 times within 10 seconds.

I have a 2006 mazda 6iSo randomly my keyless entry stopped working. I tried re-programming both. the procedure goes fine at the end they lock/unlock several times indicating the programming.
