Right now the file translation between Xbox and non-Xbox save files only supports the profile data. This was implemented for Forza Horizon 4 assuming it is the same as Forza Horizon 5 so if it turns out they have different file structures then you may have errors and I would need information on how 4's save files to add it to the game library.

Disconnect your PC from the internet. Go to your Windows 10 Settings --> Storage --> Apps & games -->Forza Horizon 4 -->Advanced Options -->Select the "Reset" button. Start playing for a few minutes to create a new local save. Connect back to the internet. If you are prompted to pick a save, you need to pick "LOCAL" for this time only.

I’ve discovered for the Steam version, absolutely nothing is saved to the Steam cloud. No game settings, no save game data. What I’m trying to figure out is if the Steam version saves your save game data to the Xbox cloud? Let’s say I format my PC or got a new PC.
