To reset the sensor, first turn off the engine and then drive for at least 50 miles. The easiest way to reset your tire pressure sensor is to drive for at least 10 miles at 50 mph. Some vehicles may reset sensors at higher speeds. Alternatively, you can use your cruise control to maintain the desired speed and pressure.

The tyre pressure monitoring system will now have been reset on the Ford Focus and the warning light should go out. If the light continues to come on, check for a tyre leak or possible fault with a TPMS in one of the tyres.
As supplied by the dealer the tyre pressures are too high, giving a harsh ride. I want to reduce them to the appropriate pressures for the axle weights but, at the time of handover, the dealer said that the TPMS would then need to be reset by a Peugeot dealer. I thought that TPMS operated by comparing relative wheel rotation across an axle.
Fault comes up with hill holder, esc and sometimes tyre pressure warning light along with the other 2, and then it normally goes into limp mode. It has to be switched off and on again to get throttle and the engine light stays on. The other lights then come on again after a while. Tried the usual brake switch, no difference.
